LOV not showing up [message #483050]

I have a text field to which I have a LOV attached. When i run the form and check the LOV attached to the field it shows up fine. But then if i make the text field property as REQUIRED=YES and then run the same the LOV dosent show up for the text field. Is there anything I need to resolve this issue.

How exactly are you calling the LOV?
What's validate_from_list set to?
