I have two blocks one master and one detail .In master block i will choose one status 'A' OR 'B' , If the status is A then it will prompt me to another block where the same status is also recorded there and i want to default this value there in the detail block.

If you let wizard create master-detail relationship, you don't have to do anything - Forms will do that for you.

If you created it by yourself, you (probably) shouldn't have done it. Use Forms wizards as much as you can - after all, they are designed to do tedious job for you.
